Kaye Edwards is an ordained minister with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.  She has spent  her entire professional life working with families and children, many with special needs.  Kaye's first job was to work as a play therapist on the Psychosomatic Unit of Boston Children's Hospital. While in Lexington, Kentucky, she directed a program to meet the educational and social needs of children with profound and multiple disabilities.  Kaye has also served as the Children's Advocate in a shelter for abused women, as the Family Life Education Coordinator for a family service organization, and as the Associate Minister for Christian Education and Youth with a local congregation. As a volunteer she has worked with Parents Anonymous, Adults Molested as Children, Special Olympics, and  Youth Services.  She currently volunteers in language arts with a local elementary school.

Kaye began working with Young Children and Worship in 1996.  She attended two of Dr. Sonja Stewart's trainings in Holland, Michigan.  During the 16 years that she served as the Director of Family and Children's Ministries for The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Denomination, Kaye worked to spread this amazing program to churches all across the United States.  Disciples call the program, Children Worship & Wonder.

Kaye is now retired and has joined the work of Olivia Stewart Robertson, serving as the Co-Director of Children & Worship.  She is available to conduct training events and offer consultations on Children & Worship, as well as other children's ministry topics.
