Children and Worship
Welcome!

Young Children and Worship offers workshops that train leaders to present this joyful way to worship God. You will be taught how invite both children and adults to experience the wonder and mystery of God through a unique storytelling format and multi-sensory materials. Through demonstrations and lectures you will learn to present biblical stories and parables using wooden figures and other materials to create a worship environment that cultivates the imagination and invites children to fall in love with God.

Adults attending the workshop will learn spiritually enriching stories from the Old Testament and the New Testament. Stories from the Old Testament such as; Creation, Noah’s Ark, Abraham and Sarai, The Exodus, and The Ten Best Ways to Live. Some examples of stories from the New testament are; The Birth of Jesus, Jesus in the Wilderness, Jesus and the Children, Jesus Heals Bartimaeus, Jesus and Zacchaeus, Jesus Last Passover, Jesus Appearance to Mary Magdalene.

The Children and Worship Workshop is recommended for children's worship leaders, pastors, Christian educators, and those working with children in small or large congregations.
